February 2003 Shortly before we started work on restoring the post back to it's former glory, the site was surveyed by John Anderson of The Royal Observer Corps in Scotland. It 's clear to see the damage that 12 years of coastal winds battering the post had enflicted it's exterior.

May 2004 After just over a year, the post had been refurbished and was proudly standing it's own compound once again as a tribute to the men and women of the Royal Observer Corps.

Panoramic Image In September 2004, a panoramic image sweeping from one wall of the monitoring room to the other was taken after the Doors Open Day event.
